Liverpool Hope University is the only ecumenical university in England, and is based in Liverpool in the north of England. It is one of the oldest higher education institutions in the UK and currently has almost 6,000 students enrolled from over 60 countries.
Following the National Student Survey, Liverpool Hope University was ranked as a leading university in the North West for Teaching, Assessment and Feedback, Academic Support and Personal Development. Liverpool Hope is also in the top 25 universities for student satisfaction in the UK. Due to Liverpool Hope’s religious background, it is also strong in Theology and Social Sciences.
Liverpool Hope University offers a number of international scholarships for high-performing international students. The Student Support and well-being team can help with personal or academic issues, as well as visas and employment. The Students Union runs a number of events and can also offer support to international students.

Liverpool Hope has Halls of Residence at both campuses, and on a separate site at Aigburth Park. 575 rooms are reserved for first year undergraduates, and some are en suite. There are also some halls reserved for second, third and fourth year students who wish to live on campus.
Liverpool is a vibrant student city offering plenty of cultural, sporting, musical and social opportunities. Visitors to Liverpool will enjoy theatres, concert halls, museums, galleries, bars, cosmopolitan shops and restaurants. Sporting fans will enjoy the friendly rivalry between Liverpool FC and Everton FC and the Grand National which attracts thousands to Aintree each year. Manchester is just over 40 minutes away by train, and London two and a half hours.
The University is based on two campuses at Hope Park Everton. Hope Park is only three miles away and Hope at Everton is a ten minute walk from Liverpool City centre. Hope Park is also home to The Sheppard-Worlock Library, and University sporting facilities.
